Happy Birthday to me!

You know how in most marriages, when the wife has a Birthday- her husband sends her flowers, buys her a pair of earrings, a bracelet, some lotion, or even just a nice card... Well, in my marriage, it has sort of become a tradition for Dallas to buy me the most stupid gift he can find. Last year I got the big pink snuggie.. a blanket with sleeves!

What could be better than that, right?? I didn't think he'd be able to top that but oh boy was I wrong! Dallas was so excited to give me my gift this year..
DRUM ROLL PLEASE...
Introducing the go-girl female urination device..
"Go Girl is a simple, sanitary device made from germ-resistant medical-grade silicone that allows women the benefit of going to the bathroom standing up. The easy-to-use device is reusable or disposable and the small storage tube fits easily into a purse or backbpack. Go Go Girl is for actvice, traveling and germ-conscious women who don't have access to a sit-down toilet or who don't want to use unfit facilities."

Wow! What more is there to say?? Who wouldn't love to get one of these babies for their 31st birthday? In fact, it's fun for all ages. I think this will be our new go-to gift for friends and family members. He was pretty proud of himself and said.. "you know how you say you don't want to go fishing, you don't want to go hunting, and you won't go camping without the camp trailer, all because there's no bathroom? Well, now you don't need one! You can pee standing up like a man and now there's nowhere you can't go." Then he said, "It's a gift from the heart. Ive heard you complaining for all these years when it comes to going places that don't have a restroom or about using the dirty public restrooms and now there's nothing to complain about!" Wow.. That's all I have to say about that.. If nothing else, it did make for some entertaining conversation with my co-workers at lunch today! I just can't wait to see what he comes up with next year.. I don't think he will ever be able to top this..
Happy Happy Birthday to me!!

p.s.
I have to add this.. My awesome friend Tiffany found out what Dallas was getting me so she decided to give me another option.. hilarious! If you can't see, the white sign in the middle says "cut hole here." Priceless!! Now.. The only question is...Which one do I use first??

hahahahaha!!

Kids are hilarious!! They say the funniest things and I always think "I need to write that down".. but-I never do. Avery is especially funny and I thought I'd better get this one written down before I forget about it..
Last night we were talking about our schedule for today and I mentioned to Avery that she had her last soccer game today and that it was a make-up game for the game that was cancelled last week due to the rain. Fast forward about 20 hours.. I tell Avery to get ready for her game. She gets dressed and then asks if Mackenzie can do her make-up before we go to the game. I look at her and say.. No, you are not wearing make-up today. Especially not to soccer. She keeps asking about the make-up and just keeps getting more and more upset that I won't put any make-up on her.. Finally she says, "but, you said it was a make-up game!" and then she starts crying... and I start laughing! She got upset and ran to her room so we sent her in the bathroom and let mackenzie put some make-up on her. Then, I explain that when I said make-up game, that just meant that they were making up for their game that they had missed. It didn't have anything to do with the make-up that you wear on your face. Nothing more was said about it for about 45 minutes or so and I thought that was the end of it. Then, as she is getting ready to walk out the door she says.. I just don't know what to do.. am I supposed to take my make-up, or are they going to give me make-up at the game?? haha! priceless! I love my kids!
