My Biggest Fear!

My whole pregnancy, since the first day I found out that I was having a baby, my biggest fear was that I would go into labor at home and not make it to the hospital. The closest hospital to my house is 45 minutes away. The hospital I was planning to deliver at is an hour and a half away. Once I go into labor, I go so fast that I always felt it was a possibility. I would start thinking about it and it would scare me to death because my imagination would take over. I was so afraid that the baby would come out and something would be wrong. What if she's not breathing?? I wouldn't know what to do. Luckily, the hospital agreed to start me 2 weeks early. Anyhow, Saturday night after the kids went to bed I decided to stay up and do some scrapbooking. At about midnight, my phone rang. It was my friend Melissa. She said that her water broke and wanted to know if she could bring her other kids over. They dropped them off a few minutes later. About 10 min. after that I heard a page for an ambulance and I started wondering. Then I heard the operator say to the peramedics who were en-route to cancel. That the baby had been born, was doing well, and that they were just going to drive themselves the rest of the way. She had her baby in the car on the side of the road!!! They were driving, and she told her husband to pull over because she could feel the baby crowning. He pulled the car over, and the baby was already out. Luckily, the baby was fine. I just thought it was funny because my whole pregnancy I was so worried about that and her whole pregnancy, she wasn't.

P.S. I took avery to her 2 month doctor appt. last week and she weighed 12 lbs 5 oz. She's in the 85% for weight, and the 25% for length. She's definately not going to be as tall as my other kids

A Little Bit Of Everything

My Kiddos
Avery was blessed last sunday by her Grandpa Anderson. He did a great job. Afterwards, we went to Sill's Cafe and ate soup and bread bowls that Grandpa Sill made. YUMMY!! I just want to thank everyone who came. Especially those who drove a long way. It was a fun day.

I have the BEST kids in the world!!
My First Smiles!!Dallas's Mom gave Avery this cute little tutu so of course, I had to take her pictures in it. I'm just happy that I finally got her to smile in a picture. I've been trying for a while and she would never smile when I've had the camera out.

New Camera!!

There is no-where to go to get pictures taken where I live (not that I can afford anyway) so I decided to invest in a new camera, I bought an SLR and I LOVE IT!! My first project was to take Avery's pictures in her blessing dress and I think they turned out pretty good for a beginner.

Halloween!!

I just had to put this picture on so you can all see how chunky she is getting!

All ready to go TRICK-OR-TREATING!!

Halloween Fun!!

Every Halloween we carve pumpkins and we decorate halloween cookies. So Monday night we carved pumpkins -except for Gavin. He wanted to paint his. Mackenzie even carved hers all by herself! Then today, Mackenzie had her friend Hannah ride the bus home with her and they decorated their cookies. It was alot of fun!

Gavin, ready to go to his halloween party at pre-school. He is going to be a firefighter. Mackenzie still hasn't decided what she is going to wear.

Too Cute!

Avery likes to be wherever I am. She likes to be held most of the time and if I'm not holding her, she at least wants to be able to see me. When I shower, she sits in the bouncy chair next to the tub. She won't go to bed until I do. Her bassinett ( ??I have no idea how to spell it) is right next to my bed. I dont have to hold her or touch her, she just has to know that i'm there or she won't go to sleep. When I cook, she sits in her bumbo chair on the kitchen floor. Today I was making dinner and she fell asleep in her chair. She just looked so cute that I had to take a picture.

Family Pictures 2008

We went to Ogden to get our family pictures taken and just our luck, it snowed the night before. We decided to get them done anyway. We managed to find a couple spots that weren't covered in snow and even though the kids were freezing, we got some pretty good pictures. Thanks Amanda!
