A Little Bit of Everything!

The girls had a dance competition a few weeks ago. They thought it was so fun! We took Avery’s friend Camryn with us and the two little girls had me laughing all day long!

Mackenzie waiting for her turn on stage. She wouldn’t let me put any make-up on her. She is definitely not a girly girl!This is how Avery started out… facing the wrong way! She eventually got it all figured out.

mmmmm. Yummy! They both had their lollipops gone within a few minutes!

They both got trophies and both of their teams won 1st place. Mackenzie’s class won overall Grand Champion. She was pretty excited!

    Last month, we took a weekend trip to Cody Wy. There was a firefighter training that Dallas was going to so me and the kids tagged along. It was a quick trip- we only stayed 2 nights but we had fun anyway! 

This was our Hotel. It was a hunter’s dream! there were animals everywhere!Avery went around shooting at everything with the gun she got at the gift shop and Gavin spent most of his time hiding from the camera!

While we were there, we went to the Buffalo Bill Museum. The kids thought that was pretty fun.On our way home we stopped at the hot springs in Thermopolis. The kids want to go back and swim in the pools they have there. I don’t think we’ll be going back just for that!

Now- fast forward to the present day.. School is out for the year and we are all excited for summer break. The last week of school was a little rough for us so we were glad to get it done with! I had taken a day off of work to go with Mackenzie to the Zoo for her field-trip and when we got back, we found out Avery had been throwing up at Day-Care. I pick her up and she throws up the whole way home. This was Tuesday. I end up having to take Wed off because she was sick. Then Thursday, I get a call at work from the nurse at the kids school telling me that Mackenzie had fallen and had gotten a cut by her eye. It didn’t need stitches thank goodness. Then Thurs night, Gavin starts throwing up and is sick all day Friday. Saturday night, Mackenzie starts throwing up and Sunday morning- Dallas gets it. Monday was Memorial day. Everyone was feeling good, I had the house all sanitized, all the laundry done, and I just knew I was in the clear. Then at about 3:00 in the morning, it hit me. I was so sick. I was dizzy and went into the bathroom, sat by the toilet, leaned over and the next thing I know, I was waking up- disoriented and not sure where I was. It took me a minute to realize my head was inside the toilet. I had passed out. Then I passed out again and again woke up with my head in the toilet. So- after that, (with Dallas’s help) I made my way to the recliner with a big bowl. I just kept envisioning a funeral with everyone talking about how I had passed out and drowned in the toilet. Not really how I want to go lol!  Anyway, It was a VERY miserable night! So- I had to miss another day of work. Then I finished out the week and here we are.. Summer Break!! Wahoo! I just wish I could slow down the clock because I know it’s going to go by WAY too fast!
