Kids say the darndest things..

I just have a few funny things I wanted to write down before I forget..

The other night Gavin had a new friend over. This friend was nice enough but was pretty wild.. Anyhow, at one point the friend asked me if they could toilet paper the neighbor's yard.. umm.. NO WAY! Anyhow, after the friend left, Gavin came up to me and asked "What do you think would have been funnier, if we toilet papered Colby's yard, or if we egged it?" I got sort of upset and told him that neither one is funny at all and I don't want you to even think about doing that to someone. He looked at me and said "I'm not going to.. I just want to know what you think would be funnier if we did." Again I told him that neither is funny.. The toilet paper gets blown all over the neighborhood leaving a mess for everyone to clean up and the eggs can ruin things. That if it gets on vehicles or any sort of paint it can ruin it and once it dries, it is a nightmare to clean up.. At this point he gave me a confused look and said "We wouldn't get the eggs on anything." So then I asked "Gavin, what do you think it means to egg someone's house?" He answered... "you hide the eggs- like an easter egg hunt." Haha! He is adorable! I Love that kid!

The past 2 months or so I have been following a new exercise program and as I was doing today's video, It got to a point where the instructor said something about making sure you squeeze on the way up because we all want a firm, round behind. Gavin- who had been sleeping on the couch says "Mom, I don't think it's working for you." Did you really just say that??? It's a good thing he is so cute!
