Our home away from home!
Carving walking sticks
We went on an adventure with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and the Scotts. We went to Promontory Point to see the trains and to the Spiral Jetty in the Great Salt Lake and the kids got to see where Grandpa works. It was a perfect day!
The water was so warm!! Like a nice warm bath! It looked pink and purple and the kids had fun playing in the foam. They learned quick that they needed to leave their shoes on though. The salt Crystals were not fun to walk on.
Gavin was my photographer
 ATK.. Grandpa's place of employment.

All finished!
We had a special conference in our Stake and Elder Dallin H Oaks came and spoke to us.. It was neat.  He walked around and shook hands with everyone and was very friendly and sweet.
On September 2nd this girl turned 7! How can she be that old already?? The weekend before her Birthday we celebrated by going bowling. She thought it was great!
The Birthday girl got to wake up and open one present in the morning..
Then she had a special pancake breakfast!
Party time!!
She wanted a camera and an mp3 player..
She was a happy girl!
Our last adventure of the summer was to stay overnight in a condo at Bear Lake.
It was the perfect way to end our summer

It's so much fun driving around with 3 kayaks in the car. Poor Gavin.. And that was the end of our fun filled summer. We truly did have a great summer and I am so grateful we were able to make the many fun memories that we made. I am already looking forward to next summer!
First Day of School! Mackenzie 7th grade, Gavin 5th grade, and Avery 1st grade. They were all so excited for their first day!
Gavin is now in the middle school so Avery is all alone at the Elementary school. She was nervous about riding the bus alone but after a couple days she didn't care anymore.
Avery's teacher Mrs. Bluemel.
Volleyball started the first week of school.. With 5:30 AM practices!! Mackenzie's friend Jaydee moved in with us for a few weeks so that she could get to those early morning practices and those girls amazed me. They got up every morning without complaining and got themselves ready for practice. They had a great season and Mackenzie learned a lot. She is already talking about playing next year.
Avery played soccer and loved it this year.. This is the only picture I took. Gavin played too of course and I didn't take any pictures at all..momfail
Mackenzie in the homecoming parade
Little Miss Cheer! Avery was so excited to cheer at the football game!
Isn't she adorable?
Girls night out. Painting class. So much fun!

Mackenzie is a Social butterfly, Avery is a witch, and Gavin is Tonto off of the Lone Ranger movie.

Tonto and The Lone Ranger won the costume contest at school. They looked awesome!
Avery wanted to try out Mackenzie's selfie stick..

Hunting season has also come and gone.. I am always glad when it's over and I have my husband back.. Dallas got a deer and an elk and had some fun times. Gavin even got to go out with him for a few days. He loves it.
Thanksgiving was this past weekend. We were supposed to go to Grandma Anderson's this year but because of the bad weather we were unable to go. We combined forces with 2 other families who were also supposed to be going to Utah and had Thanksgiving dinner with them. It turned out to be a really nice day. Hopefully we will be able to make it to Grandma's for the Christmas party in a few weeks. I can't believe its already almost Christmas!! Where has the year gone??
