The Sill Family: October 2014

Little miss Avery celebrated her 6th Birthday about a week after school started.. She wanted to have an "Elsa" party because she loves Elsa. She got an Elsa balloon that was almost as big as her!

We had her party at the park and rented a bouncy house for her big day. It was so so windy though, we weren't able to put up any of the decorations we bought for the party.. We had balloons and banners, and table covers, and, and all sorts of Frozen stuff.. It all had to stay in the car. We almost had to take the bouncy house down too because of the wind.. We had cake and cupcakes and Elsa plates and napkins.. The cupcakes got blown over onto the ground.. No fun..

We couldn't even light the candles because of the wind so she pretended to blow them out.

Her party was on Saturday but her actual birthday wasn't till Tuesday so she had to wait until then to open her presents from Mom and Dad. She got a blueberry muffin for breakfast with a candle..

Frozen stuff!! Wahoo!!

I couldn't let her not have a birthday cake on her actual Birthday so I stopped at the bakery and got her a cake.. complete with candles that we were able to light this time..

Her friend Lexie couldn't come to her party so the following weekend, they had Avery come over for a sleep-over and they took her to the mountain man rendezvous where she found many treasures.. a fan, some beeswax lotion and candles, some beads, and of course, some cotton candy. I think she had a great Birthday!! We sure do love this kid!

School Dance?? Already??

Mackenzie went to her first school dance a few weeks ago.. Really?? Is she really old enough for that?? I certainly am not ready for this!! She had a great time with her friends and was mortified because they made her dance with 3 boys!! I asked her if she talked to them at all and she said "NO!!! I didn't even dare look at them!! haha!

We took Trey and Tage to Get Air the same weekend we went to Lagoon. The kids love that place!

Katy Perry Concert!!!!

A few weeks ago, me and Mackenzie went to the Katy Perry concert.. It was so much fun!

Our seats weren't great but it was so much fun just to be there! Katy was very entertaining, very funny, and interacted with the audience a lot which was fun. It was the perfect first concert for Mackenzie.. The P!nk concert I went to last year was amazing and had better special effects but Katy Perry was more interactive and more kid-friendly.

There were a few um...strange costumes that's for sure!

SOCCER!!

Gavin and Avery both played soccer this fall and had a great time.. I didn't take any pictures until their last games and it was so so cold!! Poor Avery froze! They were glad to be done!

And saving the best for last....

Our house is for sale!!! I have been watching for over a year.. Waiting for the right house to come along. The housing market here is rough.. At any given time, there's only a handful of homes for sale and the prices on those homes are crazy high. I have finally found the house I want to buy.. 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the price is right.. Only one problem.. We have to sell ours first. At this point, we do have someone who wants to buy our house.. only one problem.. They have to sell their house first.. They thought they had theirs sold but the buyer just told the realtor they have a trailer in Green River they have to sell first.. So... They have got to sell a trailer in Green River so those people can buy the home they want here in Lyman so that those people can buy our home so that we can buy the home we want to buy.. It's getting to be a bit ridiculous... and frustrating, and i'm starting to think it's going to take a miracle to get this all worked out but i'm not giving up hope! My goal was to be in our new home by Christmas.. That is not looking very likely but as long as our house can sell before someone else comes in and snags the one we are hoping to buy, I will be happy.. I just wish it would happen sooner than later though because I am not a very patient person.. Fingers and toes crossed!!
