My baby turned 10 last month!! I can't believe I am old enough to have a 10-year old! This is over a month late, but Mackenzie had a pretty good Birthday.. She got an i-pod touch and she was pretty excited! She also got some money from Grandma Anderson which she always loves because then she gets to pick out what she wants and buy it herself.

We got Pizza for dinner and we made 2 cakes.. One for her and one for Dallas. He turned a big 31 the next day.

Then, a few days later, Mackenzie had a little party with some friends. They came over for cake and ice-cream and they just played here for a while, then I took them to the movies. They saw wreck-it-Ralph. I just can't believe how big she has gotten! 10 years old already!! I love you Kenzie Lou and I am so glad that you are mine!! Happy Birthday!!

I just wanted to put these pictures up for fun.. Just so you can all see what it looks like when Avery dresses herself. I think she gets her sense of style from her dad!

I got a new fridge!! Yay!! It is amazing how much fun can be had with a ginormous cardboard box... The fun only lasted 2 days...Until mom decided it was time for the box to disappear. They played in that thing non-stop for 2 days straight. Too bad mom had to be such a party pooper!
A few weeks ago, we took the kids to see the Harlem Globetrotters. It was so much fun! We had great  3rd row seats. The kids loved it. Especially Gavin. His eyes were glued to the court the whole time and he talked about it for days afterward.  The smile on his face and hearing him laugh non-stop made it worth every penny!

Avery had some cotton candy so she was as happy as a kid could be!

This was Gavin's favorite part.. The guy stood on top of the basketball hoop and started dancing.
We rode the train from Layton to Salt Lake and back. The kids thought that was pretty fun too. They all got a Harlem Globetrotter basketball to take home as a souvenir.

Last weekend was so warm- You couldn't have asked for better weather so we took the kids and went for a drive. First, Dallas took us on a hike in search of some aarowheads. They even found a couple. The kids had a blast! Then we drove over to the Gorge and the kids played on the beach and threw rocks into the water- or ice I guess I should say... It was a fabulous day! It made me really anxious for spring and summer! I am ready for some warm weather!
