Dance Competitions

In April the girls competed in the dance competition in Green River. They had a great time and they both did a great job!

Mackenzie's team won 1st place and high point overall Which means out of the whole competition their dance scored the highest points which qualified them for nationals! They were so excited!!

Avery's dance was adorable and she did a great job despite the fact that she absolutely hates her dance costume. After trying it on the first time, she said she wanted to quit so she wouldn't have to wear it.

Nationals! Here we come!!

They got Ruby 1st place so they didn't get to continue on but they had a great time and I am just glad they were able to go.

My kids love to play with Photo Booth on my computer.. Especially Avery. I have hundreds of pictures and videos that she has taken of herself. The videos are hilarious!

Even Dallas gets in on the action every now and then.

Katy Perry came to concert in January so of course me and Mackenzie had to go! We talked Jaydee and Tiffany into going with us and we had a great time! Our seats weren't the best but when the tickets went up for sale, they sold out in less than 4 minutes so we were just glad we got some. We love Katy Perry. We got home at 3:00 in the morning and Mackenzie had to be up at 6:30 for school. She was a trooper!

If you know anything about Avery, Then you know how much she LOVES make-up.. She loves doing her own make-up as well as anyone else's.. Dallas was a trooper and let her put some on him so of course I had to sneak a picture.

Mackenzie's first school dance.. This was a while ago so I may have already posted these... 

In March we went to a Grizzlies hockey game with some friends. The kids loved it because they didn't have to sit by mom. They sat across the arena from us on the front row. We are definitely going to have to do it again sometime!

I don't know how this happened but Gavin turned 10!! Why do my kids have to grow up so fast?? It's not fair! Gavin is a great kid. He loves soccer, hunting, fishing, hiking, riding his bike, and shooting guns.. So- he got a new gun for his birthday.. I am told it's a .17 (Whatever that means).

For Gavin's Birthday we went to Salt Lake with some friends and stayed in a hotel then the next day we went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity. It was so much fun!
