My Life

This is going to be one super duper long post of randomness!

I love how kids can fall asleep in any position haha!
Gavin Celebrated the big 8 last month. He woke up to his very own small loaf of chocolate chip banana bread and presents. What more could you need?? He got a new set of scriptures and a new scripture bag, some noise reducing headphones for when he goes shooting with his dad, and cash!! He got $40 from us, and $15 from Grandma A. He also got some new church clothes. No one can remember what was in the present he's opening in the picture so it must not have been too exciting haha! The wrapping paper is pink because I put off wrapping them until the last minute and pink was all I had. He didn't mind though.
I didn't have to work on his Birthday so I whipped up some camouflage cupcakes, got him some pizza from Pizza Hut, and surprised him with lunch at school. We also went to see a movie then he got to have a sleep-over with a friend.
Mackenzie still LOVES her puppy!
Last month, the girls also had their dance competition. I didn't take too many pictures, but I took a few.
Avery and her friend Camryn
Mackenzie and her Best Friend Jaydee.
Me and my friend Tiffany thought it would be fun to take our boys to the Temple to get some pictures for their baptisms. We spent the day in Salt lake walking around the Temple, shopping at the City Creek Center, eating, and the kids had a blast playing in the water fountains. I had to buy Avery and Gavin new clothes because they both got soaked! Best of all, we got some cute pictures of some cute boys!
Gavin and Gage
Mackenzie and Jaydee

I LOVE these ones!
We will be having his Baptism in a couple weeks and he is so excited! It should have been in April but the girls had a dance competition that day, then Dallas was out of town in May so we have to wait until June. He is counting down the days!
A few weeks ago, Mackenzie was in a play. It was Midsummer Nights Dream and Mackenzie played the part of the Fairy Queen. She was really nervous but she did a great job! I am a proud mama!
One more thing- We only have 3 weeks left of school! wahoo!! This year has gone by incredibly fast but the warmer it gets outside, the more anxious I become.. I don't want to be stuck inside all day when the weather is so warm! The winters here seem to last forever and the summers are so short so I want to soak up as much sun as I can! Today is Mother's Day by the way and I spent the whole day outside working in the yard.. I know Sunday is supposed to be the day of rest but It felt so good to be outside! I even welcomed my first sunburn of the year. It has been a fabulous day!! Dallas got me a GPS and I am so so so excited!! I think he is tired of me complaining about getting lost everywhere I go haha! I have absolutely no sense of direction.. If I don't know exactly where I am  going and exactly how to get there, I end up having to stop and ask for directions. Every time. Without fail.. I tried it out this morning to see of it could tell me how to get home from church and it worked like a charm! I am pretty sure it's going to save my life someday! I also gave Dallas a BBQ grill for Father's Day.. I know it's a month early, but I knew I would never be able to hide it for that long so I just gave it to him now. We even used it today!! I think it's going to be a great summer!
