Newport Beach

Of all the places we went, I'd have to say the beach was my favorite. There's just something about the beach that soothes the soul. We saw some sea lions swimming around the pier the first day. I could have stayed and watched them all day. We also picked up lots of fun sea shells and sand dollars that we now have in a glass lantern on top of the piano.

The second time we went, I just about stepped on these little guys as we were walking along the beach. I wasn't paying attention so I didn't see them until they were right in front of me. I wanted to pick one up and smuggle it back home with me.. They are so cute!
