Christmastime!!

Another year has come and gone! Bring on 2016! I hope it will be just as wonderful as 2015 was!
Avery talking to the big man at our Ward Christmas party.
One of our many Christmas trees. This one is my favorite one!
We went out looking for Christmas lights and ended the night with frozen yogurt from Wild Jo's
Avery was so adorable singing at her Christmas program.
 We decorated gingerbread men
 denied...
 They were tasty!!
The fire dept escorted Santa around town so all of the kids could come visit with him and get a treat.
We got some snow!! So we had to take advantage of it and go sledding. Avery LOVED it!! This time anyway.. Mackenzie and Gavin always love playing in the snow!
The girls had their Christmas dance performance. They both did great! This is Avery's first year clogging and she loves it.. Although she did tell me that the only reason she wanted to take clogging was because she wanted the shoes.
On Christmas Eve we went to the Neilson's house and had dinner and played games. We had a fabulous time. Then we went home and the kids got to open their new jammies!
Cute kids all ready for bed!

I thought we should take a family picture. Easier said than done..
Finally!! I sure love my little family!
Mackenzie posing in her new Batman Pajamas.
We read a few Christmas stories then to bed we went!
This is what Dallas got for Christmas.. I have no words.
Christmas morning!!  The kids were spoiled rotten as usual..  We actually really cut back this year and it was so nice!! We had a perfect day!
Mackenzie got a volleyball net, a volleyball, some boots, a snowboard, a bamboo pillow, some gel pens, and some boots.
Avery got a mermaid costume, a mermaid tail blanket, a jewelry box, some stompeez slippers, some clothes,  a pair of boots, some barbies, and a purse.
Gavin got a bike, a snowboard, blow darts, a football, camo pants, a basketball hoop for his room, some gloves, and some shoes.
Dallas got me these fabulous earmuffs.. Im so lucky.. I also got myself a red kitchen aid.
We opened presents, watched a movie, made breakfast, took a nap, then we bundled up and went sledding!
Trying out the new snowboards. They both said it's a lot harder than they thought it would be.
Avery didn't love it so much this time around..
 pouty face!
She's done. She sure is a temperamental little thing but we love her.
After sledding we went over to the Willett's house and had dinner then went out with the razor and the 4-wheeler and pulled the kids around in the sleds. It was SO SO COLD but so much fun! Where else would you be able to go sledding in the streets??  We were out until after dark.. By the time we went in I couldn't even feel my hands or feet. So fun!
We had our annualChristmas party with the Anderson's.. We introduced everyone to the pie face game.

The day after Christmas we went over to Grandma Sill's and went to see the new Star Wars movie in 3D. Grandma gave Avery an easy bake oven, Gavin got a Co2 air soft pistol, and Mackenzie got a brush hair straightener thing. Then we got some dinner from Red Lobster and it was time to go home. We had a great day!
 In our Sunday best!
I promised the kids I would take them ice skating before they have to go back to school so we went over to the Rec center in Rock springs and did some ice skating and then went to the pool for a while. We saw a few friends while we were there and had a super fun day! I am not going to be ready to go back to school and work next week!
Yesterday for New Year's Eve we had a pretty relaxing day.. Just stayed home and lounged around, did some reading, then we had friends (The Cranes) come over for dinner and games. We got so carried away that we missed the new year's countdown.. We looked at the clock and it said 12:05.  We went outside and lit a few fireworks then called it a night..

I am not one for New Year's resolutions but I hope this new year will bring good things along with it for our family.. 2015 was a great year so I really can't ask for anything more. We are very blessed and I hope we can spend 2016 making many more fun memories with those we love. Happy New Year's Everyone!
